Why do I make cider, meads, wines and Liquors?
In December of 2015 a redneck hippie duck farmer put out a pod cast episode called Making Dead Simple Ciders, Meads and “Fruit Wines”. He told about how to make cider using Tree Top Apple Cider in the bottle you buy it in. He talked about how you could do it with a ballon or airlock. By the end of that week I had bought a couple of gallons of Tree Top Apple Cider, a universal stopper that fit into the top of apple cider jug, an airlock and a packet of yeast from my local brew shop.
Over the next few weeks and months I started buying more things like an auto-siphon, different types of yeast, and a lot more stoppers and airlocks.
In February of 2016 I decided I was going to make video to document what I was doing. Mostly it started as my way of keeping my brewers log to remember what I did and what happened instead of writing it down. I jokingly started one of my early videos as if I was Captain Kirk say Brewer’s Log instead of Captain’s Log with the date.
